Auditing, what is it? In plain English.

1-It is the examination of your business accounting information or data by an individual who is not controlled by others (inside or outside of your business)

2-It is the giving of a report based on the examination financial statements in which the auditor gives an opinion on fairness of those statements.

3-The results of an audit allows you or external parties (Bankers, businesses, regulators, investors, etc.) to make informed decision about your business use of its resources (Capital, loans, etc.)

The CPA firm will provide the following:

1-Study and evaluate internal control in accordance to generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS)

This CPA firm knows that every “tick of the clock” is costing you money, that is why each and every engagement is properly planned and supervised to reduce the time.

Internal controls are the systems you have in place as a protection against theft or waste within your organization. This system is a must to furnish accurate accounting data. The CPA firm gives you an analysis of your internal controls that are in place after studying, testing and evaluating your entire accounting process and make recommendations on a plan of action that reduce theft or waste within your company.

2-Study industry per GAAS The CPA firm does Industry and Client Research, to get to know the business. This allows our staff the time to be familiar with the issues facing the industry.

3-Test accounts per GAAS- The CPA firm tests accounts and transactions based on the audit scope.

4-Issue audit report per GAAS The monthly, quarterly and/or annual reports are easy to read and understand and clearly show the financial position of your company. You can have comparative financial data for your past and present performance and the comparisons of your company’s performance to industry standards. This financial data allows you to better understand your company's position and gives you the basis necessary to make informed business decisions
