Confirmation of Independence of Another Firm doing Parts of an Engagement, or When the CPA act as Principal Auditor

Policy Statement: 
The CPA firm will verify the independence of another firm doing parts of an engagement, or when the CPA firm acts as principal auditor.

Implementation: The CPA firm will carry out this policy through the following procedures: 

  • Giving an account of in words (in its policies and procedures manual) the form, content, and frequency of independence portrayal that are to be obtained.
  • Demanding that such representations be in an official writing to serve as evidence.
