We rate companies based on the financial statements instead of stock prices. Let us clarify this statement. Example: Company 1 stock sells for $3 per share Company 2 stock sells for $36 per share Company 3 stock sells for $108 per share All 3 companies have a B rating.
The question that enters your mind is why is that? Let us tell you. Stock prices are driven by popularity, word of mouth, and are given phrases such as “Hot pick, Hot stock, Stock to watch, etc. The popularity drives the prices up. If you pierce, the popularity of the stock price driven by the stock market feeding frenzy and look beyond, the veil and look at the financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, etc) you see a different story and that all three companies have key ratios (Accounts receivable turnover, current ratio, cash flow to total debt, debt to total assets, etc) in similar percentage point range. The financial statements show the health of the company and the true picture.

key ratios to measure
risks based on the averages of those ratios of a representative sample of
leading companies in the same industry using the Standard Industry
