A review report, What is it?

The Statements on Standards for Accounting and Review Services AR section 100 reads as follows:

Reporting on the Financial Statements

.39 Financial statements reviewed by an accountant should be accompanied

by a report. The basic elements of the report are as follows:

a. A statement that a review has been performed in accordance with

Statements on Standards for Accounting and Review Services issued

by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants

b. A statement that all information included in the financial statements

is the representation of the management (owners) of the entity

c. A statement that a review consists principally of inquiries of company

personnel and analytical procedures applied to financial data

d. A statement that a review is substantially less in scope than an audit,

the objective of which is the expression of an opinion regarding the

financial statements taken as a whole and, accordingly, no such opinion

is expressed

e. A statement that the accountant is not aware of any material modifications

that should be made to the financial statements in order for

them to be in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles,

other than those modifications, if any, indicated in the report

f. A signature of the accounting firm or the accountant as appropriate

(For example, the signature could be manual, stamped, electronic, or typed.)

g. The date of the review report (The date of the completion of the accountant's review procedures should be used as the date of the accountant's report.)

As seen above is what a review is all about. Companies in all industries are required to have a review level report to maintain their license or to be in compliance to other governmental requirements.

You can get a review report all on line via the internet. All you need is the following communication equipment:

3-Word processing or spreadsheet and fax software installed

4-E-mail address

The review report must be sign by a CPA. We will provide a CPA licensed by the New York State Education Department to sign your report. You can be in any state in United States and have a review report sent to you.
